With the new year comes the time-honoured tradition of setting resolutions.
Whether it’s to reach a new personal best at the gym or to learn that musical instrument you had always intended to, for some millennials the new year means an opportunity to better themselves in the upcoming 12 months.
We ran a study specifically looking at our millennials, asking those intending to make a positive change in 2019 these three questions…
- Do you typically take the new year as an opportunity to better yourself?
- From the options, which will you do to make a positive change in 2019?
- How much do you expect to spend this year to better yourself?
Below is a quick look at what we found out, but for the full breakdown of results download our White Paper.
How often do millennials take the new year as a means for a change? When we asked “do you typically take the new year as an opportunity to better yourself?” a huge 40% responded “yes, always.”
2019 will be a year to make healthier changes for millennials. By asking “What will you do in 2019 to make a positive change” 82% voted to eat better, and 80% to exercise more frequently.
Asking “How much do you expect to spend this year to better yourself?” we found that just over a fifth of our millennials will be expecting to spend between $200-$499 in the next 12 months.
