Halloween; a day that’s celebrated widely across the world and famous for candy apples, pumpkins, and dressing up. But how much are we spending during the holiday?
Asking 1,000 mothers, with a breakdown of 200 per age group (18-25,26-35, 36-45, 46-55 and 56 and over) we set the following questions:
- How much do you expect to spend on Halloween? (Costumes, decorations, candy etc)
- For Halloween, what do you expect to spend the most on this year?
- What kind of Halloween treats will you buy the most of this year?
- How do you prefer to shop for Halloween items?
To find out which age group is opting to purchase alternative treats to candy this year, or who is spending more money on decorations over costumes, download our white-paper below!
Just like trick or treaters, we don’t want anyone leaving empty handed – so here’s a small snippet of our findings.
When we asked “For Halloween, what do you expect to spend the most on this year?” we found that respondents will be keeping things sweet, with most money being spent on candy.
How much do you think you will spend this year, if any at all? We asked that exact question, and whilst there is a few non-celebrators amongst respondents, we found 44.5% will be spending between $1-$50.
